We are very excited and honoured to have Professor Mrs Kassey Garba from the University of Ibadan at our office on Friday for the assessments of her postgraduate students undergoing an internship programme with us at Sun and Oak Consult Ltd.

The assessment seeks to examine and ensure the exchange of values between her students and the company while harnessing the relationship between the university and the company to foster the growth, development and prosperity of her students.

Key Points:

• There must be (an) exchange of value(s). Interns should not always be at the receiving end but must significantly add value to the company.
• Interns should not only learn and horn their skills in their respective field of study but also develop skillsets that makes them independently viable and valuable to ensure that they thrive irrespective of their employment status.
• Developing and horning skillset will help interns address the issue of unemployment challenges in our society.
• A good relationship between the Students and the Company is essential for business & career growth, networking and promotion of values and services.
• A good relationship between the Company and the University is essential to foster growth and development through value exchange programs and services.

Professor Garba commended and appreciated the Company for the opportunity given to her students to learn and grow, for adding and exchanging values and for creating the platform for the promotion of her students for future work reference and recommendation.

The Chief Executive Officer, Mr Caleb, an alumnus of the University of Ibadan appreciated the visitation of the Professor and assured her of employing or promoting her students whenever deemed through reference and recommendation with respect to their skillset and the value-added to the Company.
He further expressed his willingness to harness the relationship between the Company and the University through value exchange programs and services.
